Since redevelopment, Walsh Bay has been transformed into one of Australia’s most prestigious integrated developments, with elite residential apartments. Over recent years Walsh Bay has grown to become Sydney’s culture, art and entertainment hub.
Our projects included design, supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing support of an integrated Digital TV (MATV) and Foxtel TDT (QAM) distribution system. The system delivers services over multiple stages / buildings, with the capacity of over 1000 outlet locations.
TVSAT provided a solution using TDT technology, to upgrade the development for Foxtel IQ and HD specifications, previously un-available to residents. This upgrade was completed using the existing single wire distribution system, without any re-cabling to apartments.
COFDM Processors and COFDM to PAL transmodulators have been used for the integration of Digital and Analog TV services throughout the network.
The project was completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with Foxtel TDT / QAM specifications and the Australian Standards for MATV.
